So what's a BeanPoll?
We invented BeanPoll as a way to make donations to your site a little more interesting. You see, people love to give their opinion and vote on things. With a BeanPoll you can have them vote and at the same time donate to your cause. They vote with their money and you collect all the proceeds using your PayPal® account. You can make as many polls as you would like about anything that interests you or your viewers. Best of all we do all the work, behind the scenes, you will simply post one small line of code on your website. See Demo for a sample.
Do I need a special PayPal® account?
Any PayPal® account will work with BeanPoll. PayPal® is very easy to use and very easy to set up. Just follow our step by step instructions and you will be on your way.
Ok I have registered, now how do I make a poll?
Just login in and click on Create a New Poll, enter webpage name the poll will be on, your PayPal® account email (so you can get the money), Enter your question and your choices for answers. Then click on create new poll and paste the code on your website.
Do I have to do anything special in my PayPal® account?
You will have to make one change to enable the autoreturn feature so people will return from PayPal® after they vote (with money). Just Log in to your PayPal® account:
Click "Profile" under "My Account"
Click "Website Payment Preferences" in the "Selling Preferences" column
Turn "Auto Return" on
Set http://www.BeanPoll.com as the Return URL
Click the "Save" button
Don't worry if you have it set already for something else. Once Auto Return is on it will work.
So what does it cost?
It's FREE!!! Try it and see. There is no risk. You have nothing to lose and you might even make a few bucks.
